Blood Type Diet

I glanced at the blood type diet book a little over a year ago when I was looking at trying to lose weight a little more seriously. I am also one of those nerdy people who will read anything I get my hands on. Except Sci-fi. I am not that nerdy. ;-)

I respect the Blood Type Diet book because I think that where our ancestors were from affects our health today. If you have not read it, I suggest that you do. It makes sense to me. I think it suggested that I cut the carbs and eat more lamb or something like that. I don't recall everything about it, but I do suggest people take a look at the book.

Anyways... I noticed this flyer around the BSU campus when I was in the Health Science Riverside building earlier in the week.

Email ericscottmorrison@gmail.com to volunteer.

My blurry cell phone pic reads:
SonMor prductions of Boise is looking for volunteers to try the Blood Type Diet for 3 months during the filming of a documentary about Peter D'Adamo (author of Eat Right For Your Type.) Looking for candidates of each blood group (O,A,B,AB) with a specific health challenge they would like to improve. Must be motivated, dedicated, and willing to have a camera crew inside the home to document the experience of the volunteer. Please contact: Eric Morrison ericscottmorrison@gmail.com (512) 983-0323

Seems like a fun deal if you want to maybe do something healthy and want to indulge some secret (or not so secret) reality TV show fetish.

I don't think my BF would like me having a camera crew inside the house. I don't really want to be on a reality show. I would be the one fighting with everyone that everyone hates. lol

Is there any reality show on TV you would love to be on?

Happy Birthday To Me

Happy Birthday to me.

You know how I celebrated the start of my birthday on midnight at work? (I actually am not taking my birthday off. Why can't all birthdays be on a weekend day?)

Burpees, pushups, squats, crunches. One for every year. So, I did 22 of each.

Ok, 24. ;-)

Sunday, for the BFs birthday, we had a shot of Wild Turkey. And our birthday shot (which I found out Vista Bar doesn't do free birthday shots - shame on them! Looks like Neurolux is my preferred birthday celebration location because I know they give free birthday shots) made me want to really enjoy another, but I refrained.

Actually, I think this weekend, I will be taking in a cocktail or 4 at the Modern.

I also made sure to sign up for lots of restaurants deals for birthday goodies this year because I like being a cheapskate. I like it when places give you a week (or all month) to use the goodies and not just on your birthday day. I don't want to go for a free b-day meal alone on my birthday at lunch, wh…

Kiss Me Organics Organic Dandelion Root Tea - With Hibiscus & Cinnamon Review

This post is sponsored by Kiss Me Organics and no other compensation was given.

I love Dandelion. They are not really a weed, but they have so many health benefits. The BF started eating them a few years ago. And he picked the first one this last week for me to eat. He has even gotten some of his guy friends to start picking them and eating them regularly. Serious! I am thankful for this tea because I don't have to eat them out of the yard, unless I want to. They are full of nothing but health. This tea tastes way better then a flower out in the yard!
