2011 Christmas Run Packet Pick-Up

Today was one of those super cray-cray days where I ALMOST forgot to pick up my race packet for the Christmas Run tomorrow morning.

I got busy with end of the school year things, grocery shopping things, and going to the post office.

Then I remembered, Hey it's 3pm. The race packet pick-up starts at 3.

The BF and I raced over to the Boise High cafeteria to get my number. Thank goodness there wasn't a whole lot of people there.
They made you look for your race number on a print out on one side of the room. Then go over to the other side of the room and get your race number. Then stand in line for your goodie bag, then shirt, then gloves.

The goodie bag included a free haircut coupon that expires Jan. 31, 2012 at SportClips. The BF is pleased about that. And a free ice cream coupon at a sweet shoppe called Goodys. They make good egg creams. Yum.
Shirt is long sleeved and 100% cotton. (Ugh) It has some glitter sparkles on it for snow on the design. Which doesn't make up for the fact that it's 100% cotton. But it is cute. And there are little gloves that we got too. One hand green, one hand red. If the BF would have signed up we would have had 2 of each. They were handing out jingle bells too. I took one but I won't wear it because it isn't jingly enough.

I barely had enough time today to get everything ready for tomorrow morning before I had to go to work today. All my clothes are set out. I have my Garmin charged and ready for 2.5 miles and my bib all set up on my Race Lite Go.

Just in case anyone wants to torture themselves with the Seattle Marathon in 2012, I did get an email today from the Seattle Marathon with a code for $5-$10 off race fees for the 2012 race.  This code works until Feb. 18. 2012. The code is 12TAKE10

Here is the Christmas Run Race Review.

Quarantines and Earthquakes

Hi. How are you and your loved ones doing? Everyone safe and healthy? I hope everyone is illness free and has plenty of TP. :-)

The Stay at Home order isn't really affecting me too much. We work from home anyways, so its actually making us work more. I enjoy my house and my bed and I even signed up for Amazon Prime so I can watch more then what is on Netflix. We can't go out to eat in restaurants and we can't thrift store shop. I know, I know #FirstWorldProblems But I am thankful that I am in a relationship where I enjoy being around the person I am in a relationship with.

I have been ordering a Doordash or 2 a week. Doordash is a good thing and yet a bad thing. I can scroll and scroll and think about food, and even order it. It caters to this Taurus a little too well. I enjoy being at home, I like to eat, and I can make sure I tip the driver and make sure the restaurants can keep the lights on. I like to think of it as good karma.

Plus I can order DoorDash instead of suff…
