Eat Smart Products Weight Tracker & BMI Digital Bathroom Scale Product Review

This post is sponsored by Eat Smart Products and no other compensation has been given.

I have been working my butt off the last 6 weeks. I am right at the end of two local weight loss challenges. One ends on the 14th and one ends on the 21st. I am ready for them to end, but in a way, I am not. I am enjoying the routine and the progress I have been making! I even took progression photos of the last couple of weeks. I was not expecting to share them because, well, they are just not flattering!

Thankfully, my history with Eat Smart products has provided me with another bathroom scale. This has been very well used as I track myself everyday, but only log in my "official" weight once a week. I have also been keeping track of my BMI and I am proud to say that this is down!

I have reviewed a few of the Eat Smart bathroom scales over the years and I think this one is my favorite out of all of them.

This is my favorite scale because it is not clear! I was having issues with a prev…

Freeze Your Thorns Off 5k

For my Friday night after work workout was a ghetto renew dreadmill run. Actually, it wasn't so dreadful as this slog was a 5K and I wanted to be better then my previous 5K attempts of 35 minutes. The Boring Runner has a Freeze Your Thorns Off 5K going on today and I took part in it.

Ghetto Renew had the building surprisingly cool and I didn't sweat as much as I normally do. Maybe because it was 25 degrees outside. Maybe it is because someone figured out how to change the thermostat. I don't know, but it sure was nice!

The pic above is post-run. My hair looks surprisingly good for slogging it out on the treadmill for a half hour. We will just blame it on the bad lighting in the building...

Hooray for me. 3.11 in 33:49. That is like a PR for me. Didn't stop for water, like most 5K's. Did the 1st mile at .5 incline and 4.9 speed. The 2nd mile, I wanted to really push myself and get done and went 5.0 and moved my incline at -3.0. I inched up the speed at 1.25mile to 6.0 and finished the 3rd mile alternating from 7.0 back down to 5.5, with the incline mostly at -3.0 but did do some of it at +0.5.

Foam rolled the ITs and stretched the calves and quads. Home and now sleepytime.

That will probability be all of my running for Friday/Saturday. The BF has his kids this weekend, and I think a few G&T's will be calling my name... I also got 4 movies to watch...

Did you workout today? Any exciting weekend plans?
