The Millennial's Guide To Changing The World Review

This post is sponsored by The Millennial's Guide To Changing The World book by Allison Sher.

I was given a digital copy of this book. I thought that it would be good to read, even though I am a Gen X'er. There is just so much talk about the Millennial's right now that I thought that it would be good to get to know what is going on inside their head.

About the Book  The Millennial's Guide to Changing the World teaches young people everything they need to know to change the world, while building a happy, healthy adult life for themselves. It explains how our current social systems work, the challenges young people are inheriting and how millennials can step into our power to create a critical mass conversion to solve them. Everything from politics to spirituality to love relationships to education to sex to economics to mental health is covered. And it includes 50 or so juicy, true life stories from millennials across the country…

I Had A Dream & A Giveaway

A couple of days ago, Wunderground had Saturday's weather as 90 degrees and chance of thunderstorms.

Now, the weather prediction is 59 and cloudy. I think this will make for cool, if not cold 8am start at the lake. So much better then the 90 for Robie. Just as long as it does not rain - like it is doing today.

So, yeah. I have been MIA this week (she will be on my ipod for Saturday). Just kinda preoccupied with the Saturday Marathon, which I am completely unprepared for, getting ready for Cinco De Mayo (a stop at the liquor store for a couple bottles of tequila is something I need to do tomorrow along with laser hair removal appointment and marathon packet pick up), which horse am I picking for the Derby (Gemologist - only because I like the bling bling name and they are predicted 3rd on some polls), and Sunday is the BFs b-day (he wants to go to Lock Stock & Barrel thinking they have ribs. Yeah prime RIB is on the menu but he just hears Ribs).  I have been reading your blogs and twitters. You know how you click on a blogger and see who they follow too? Yeah. I did that and now I am reading like a blog stalker this dudes blog from the beginning. Didn't everyone have an awesome Boston? Yeah. Read his last couple posts. I think I will know that feel on Saturday bro.

So yeah. I am unprepared for Saturday. Last night I had dreams all night about running. Well, I had a dream that I was making onion rings where the breading wouldn't stick when I fried them and my ex-BFs dad wanted my stuff out of their basement, and I went bar hopping too and called up said ex-BFs BFF to go with me since I was in town getting my things out of the basement, but these were all different dreams at different points of the night.

Anyways, at one point I was running Yasso 800s in my dream. Mentally figuring out what I needed to run my 800s in to get my marathon goal. I don't remember what I was running each 800. 4 or 5 minutes. Yes, I was reading running blogs before bed. And I DID eat onion rings Sunday night, but have not had any beer since Saturday and I did text the ex-BFs BFF all last night and I have never met the ex-BFs dad. So yeah, my brain is preoccupied with lots of stuff this week and in my slacky repentance I am going to have a giveaway. (there is another awesome giveaway coming up - hopefully next week!)
Before my last run this weekend. Don't mind the BFs finger in the pic. He can't take pics & I am too lazy to crop.

So, I am a #SweatPink Ambassador. I think this is great. I am no longer a lone wolf. I am now part of a group of awesome people where I am gaining lots of inspiration from lots of great bloggers who are embracing a healthy lifestyle while having fun. Seriously, these ambassadors are awesome!

And you get to Sweat Pink along with me with some pink swag of your own.

If you see me at the end of the Lake Lowell Marathon on Saturday (if have the patience to wait that long for me to finish at the back of the pack), you can shake me down for some sweet Sweat Pink shoelaces. And tequila. I may have some of that with me post-race too. Or you can send me an email ( running. in. boise at gmail. com ) or leave a comment below and I can send them to you.

That is it for me today. Are you ready for the weekend? Are you going to watch the Derby and which horse did you pick?
