The Millennial's Guide To Changing The World Review

This post is sponsored by The Millennial's Guide To Changing The World book by Allison Sher.

I was given a digital copy of this book. I thought that it would be good to read, even though I am a Gen X'er. There is just so much talk about the Millennial's right now that I thought that it would be good to get to know what is going on inside their head.

About the Book  The Millennial's Guide to Changing the World teaches young people everything they need to know to change the world, while building a happy, healthy adult life for themselves. It explains how our current social systems work, the challenges young people are inheriting and how millennials can step into our power to create a critical mass conversion to solve them. Everything from politics to spirituality to love relationships to education to sex to economics to mental health is covered. And it includes 50 or so juicy, true life stories from millennials across the country…

What's Been Going On?

Hey. How's it going? Sorry for the neglect the last week. But it was an important week for the BF & I. We both had our birthdays!

I made us Boozy Birthday Cake Shakes, and I loved them a whole lot. The BF wouldn't drink his, but he has an eating disorder where he is no fun and hates sweets.

For my present, he did get me new Hokas. Yay! My 2nd pair and I am just going to looove them.

Yay for that new shoe smell!
I will put them through the Half Marathon motion this weekend. I feel that I am going to be really slow this weekend.

I have been putting miles in, but not very confident in my body right now. Burnout maybe? Boredom? It could be a part mental and a part physical issue. I have gained 4 pounds back from the 50K training that I lost. The building I am working in has been really hot, like 90some degrees all night- disgustingly hot, which has me cranky. (translation-I am looking for another job, like, seriously! and I was offered something a few weeks ago, it paid $4 more an hour, but it just wasn't the right fit for me. I need a healthier work environment then what I am in now)

But, what is good right now is the greenbelt is green. And the trails are nice.

And I am looking forward this summer to slogging and sweating it out on both!

And maybe even having another boozy birthday shake on Saturday!

Have you ever had a boozy shake? Tell me something about your last week? Any races coming up soon?
