The Millennial's Guide To Changing The World Review

This post is sponsored by The Millennial's Guide To Changing The World book by Allison Sher.

I was given a digital copy of this book. I thought that it would be good to read, even though I am a Gen X'er. There is just so much talk about the Millennial's right now that I thought that it would be good to get to know what is going on inside their head.

About the Book  The Millennial's Guide to Changing the World teaches young people everything they need to know to change the world, while building a happy, healthy adult life for themselves. It explains how our current social systems work, the challenges young people are inheriting and how millennials can step into our power to create a critical mass conversion to solve them. Everything from politics to spirituality to love relationships to education to sex to economics to mental health is covered. And it includes 50 or so juicy, true life stories from millennials across the country…

NatraCure Cold Therapy Socks Product Review

This is a post sponsored by NatraCure and no other compensation was given.

Since putting in such high mileage (14 miles a day for a few months) earlier this spring and summer, compression and ice packs were my BFF. I was starting to get arthritis in my knees, my Achilles was a little unhappy, and I felt a bit of Plantar Fasciitis creeping in on too many mornings.

Since taking the last few months off and restarting up running on the regular, I feel some of those familiar aches and pains coming back. My Achilles is unhappy and I feel some PF if I don't do a good stretch before I get out of bed.

I am so thankful for the NatraCure Cold Therapy Socks. I'm sure you know how hard it is to ice your feet and be in a comfortable post-run position. These socks help keep the ice packs on your feet.

If you watch the short video above, you can place the 2 ice packs at the bottom of your foot and either on the top or on the back of the heel. I love the back of the heel placement!

Putting the ice pack in the back of the heel pocket
The ice packs have 3 little pockets outside of the sock so they fit perfectly and securely.

If you have issues with
  • Swollen feet
  • Sore feet
  • Hot feet
  • Aching feet
  • Plantar Fasciitis
  • Arthritis
  • Heel spurs
  • Ball-of-foot pain
  • Arch pain
these really are perfect. Come February where I have some peak mileage on my training calendar planned out, I know I will be using these every day! So far, I just use these after my longer runs, or runs where I know my stride has been affected because of the snowy weather.

According to the directions, you can heat the packs up too. Because heat therapy can be as important as cold in some cases. These socks are comfortable and soft, kinda like fleece inside the sock. I have enjoyed wearing them.

I picked the size S/M sock since I wear a size 9.5 running shoe and that size fit OK. If you have a size 10+ I do recommend the L/XL size.

Since everyone is looking for runner-themed Christmas gifts, I think these socks could be a very welcomed stocking stuffer.

NatraCure has a ton of therapy and recovery products. If interested in this product or any other therapy and  you can find them here at their website or on I have my eye on the knee support and circulation booster! You can also connect with NatraCure via their Facebook, Google+ and Twitter.
