I Was Going To Register For A Race...

The other half and I received race entry codes for Boise's FitOne Race the last weekend of September. September 24th.
I registered for said race and thought that's cool. A race I have not yet done in Boise.

Then I looked at my calendar.

You know, I REALLY SHOULD have looked at the calendar before getting the itchy race registration finger.

I am going on a CRUISE the next day. So I won't even BE in Idaho. Silly me.

September is gonna be a very busy month for me and its such a good month for racing. The first week of September I'll be peddling wine at the fair. 12 hour days for a week. It was fun last year but I couldn't do anything else. I was 100% dedicated to my booth.

The week after that will be dealing with the fair after effects. Calling back leads and whatnot.

The week after that will hopefully be some travel down to Cali to go on my cruise. It's my first cruise and I am pretty excited. I'm so excited that I'm already planning on booking my next cruises when I have not even gone on one yet.

I KNOW I am going to be seasick but it is OK. I already got my SeaBands and will be taking lots of ginger with me in my bag.

So, looks like back to the drawing board for more race registrations.
I have the one above I am looking forward to doing. I placed last year. I don't think I will be placing this year.

Anyone interested in running in the Boise FitOne races? If so, let me know! We can work something out. I have a code that was given to the other half and its good for any distance. And since he is going with me on my cruise he can't run it either! $10 and the code is yours!

Have you ever accidentally registered for a race that was on the wrong weekend? Any races planned soon?

Quarantines and Earthquakes

Hi. How are you and your loved ones doing? Everyone safe and healthy? I hope everyone is illness free and has plenty of TP. :-)

The Stay at Home order isn't really affecting me too much. We work from home anyways, so its actually making us work more. I enjoy my house and my bed and I even signed up for Amazon Prime so I can watch more then what is on Netflix. We can't go out to eat in restaurants and we can't thrift store shop. I know, I know #FirstWorldProblems But I am thankful that I am in a relationship where I enjoy being around the person I am in a relationship with.

I have been ordering a Doordash or 2 a week. Doordash is a good thing and yet a bad thing. I can scroll and scroll and think about food, and even order it. It caters to this Taurus a little too well. I enjoy being at home, I like to eat, and I can make sure I tip the driver and make sure the restaurants can keep the lights on. I like to think of it as good karma.

Plus I can order DoorDash instead of suff…
