My Workouts From Last Week

I have a good week last week.

My workouts were on point.

I worked hard on making sure my macros were all √.

I got all my 100oz of water except for Monday - I did errands after my workout which took 2 hours longer then expected so I have to get back into the habit of carrying a large bottle with me. I had a hangry meltdown and I HAVE to take snacks / meals with me. I can't

Monday - 5 min of elliptical warm up
                 Legs from the Transform App
20 sweaty minutes of the Stairmaster
20 minutes with maxed out heart rate intervals on the elliptical.
I felt really good with my performance of today. On my Whoop app, I got a 12 strain for the day. I think I have to go that hard longer to max out my strain to 21. I am still working on that.

Tuesday - this was a Transform App low carb day and I just did 3 miles of intervals outside. I must of been sucking in cold air hard during this trot since I had a sore throat and it was all night long. I had a counseling appointment and I took 2 snacks and water with me so I didn't have another meltdown like Monday.

32oz of water, pepperoni slices, string cheese, baby carrots and Premier Protein shake.
Wednesday - Upper body workout of the Transform App.
                      3 miles of intervals outside.
I was really working my speed at my running. And when I am faster, my form is better then when slower. I guess this workout was more of a fartlek. I played with my speed and how long I kept it. The interval fast sprint speed was anywhere of a 7:35 pace to a 9:30 pace. I drank too much water before running and even with a portapotty break half way, I was still uncomfortable. I did get ALL my water in early on this day. And my throat still was irritated all day.

Yay! Nice Weather!
Thursday - I had to travel out of town to see my dentist in Twin Falls and got a teeth cleaning. I really like this dentist and I don't want to change so I will gladly drive the 2 hours to him. Plus this appointment has been booked over 6 months ago. I planned my dinner eating out and brought all my food and water for the whole rest of the day. I did not have time to get a walk or run in, so I used this as a rest day since most of it was spent sitting.

Friday - I had an early wake up to get a couple of errands completed before 9am. Then it was to the gym. I forgot my headphones so it was hard to get my intervals as hard as I prefer, but I had enough caffeine to keep my legs going because I ordered an extra shot in my mocha this morning.

Elliptical no fun without music.
This was a a good week. I did everything according to the Transform App. I know I was full of toxins, salt, and wine, so I lost a lot of water weight. I was down 8 pounds this week. I feel less bloated, and I can tell my quads are less fluffy.

How was your week? How was your training?

Happy Birthday To Me

Happy Birthday to me.

You know how I celebrated the start of my birthday on midnight at work? (I actually am not taking my birthday off. Why can't all birthdays be on a weekend day?)

Burpees, pushups, squats, crunches. One for every year. So, I did 22 of each.

Ok, 24. ;-)

Sunday, for the BFs birthday, we had a shot of Wild Turkey. And our birthday shot (which I found out Vista Bar doesn't do free birthday shots - shame on them! Looks like Neurolux is my preferred birthday celebration location because I know they give free birthday shots) made me want to really enjoy another, but I refrained.

Actually, I think this weekend, I will be taking in a cocktail or 4 at the Modern.

I also made sure to sign up for lots of restaurants deals for birthday goodies this year because I like being a cheapskate. I like it when places give you a week (or all month) to use the goodies and not just on your birthday day. I don't want to go for a free b-day meal alone on my birthday at lunch, wh…

Kiss Me Organics Organic Dandelion Root Tea - With Hibiscus & Cinnamon Review

This post is sponsored by Kiss Me Organics and no other compensation was given.

I love Dandelion. They are not really a weed, but they have so many health benefits. The BF started eating them a few years ago. And he picked the first one this last week for me to eat. He has even gotten some of his guy friends to start picking them and eating them regularly. Serious! I am thankful for this tea because I don't have to eat them out of the yard, unless I want to. They are full of nothing but health. This tea tastes way better then a flower out in the yard!
