My FIRST Relay Run!

I'm pretty excited here, but I get to join in on my first relay run!

I know that they are really popular the last few years but none of my close friends are runners, and this lone wolf runner don't run with a group. So my joining in on a relay has always been slim. But I finally have gotten the opportunity to join in with one.

And its a pretty big deal.

United Relay is a national race going coast to coast. The run started out in Seattle, LA & San Fran on April 27th and is going 24 hours a day until they reach the east coast of New York on June 4th.

The race will take place on 3 coast to coast routes so people from nearly every state will get the chance to participate.

Oh yea, this run is also raising money for charities. I picked the Seattle Children's Hospital as my charity choice.

I got to join in and pick which leg of the relay that I wanted to run. I was the first person to register for the Idaho legs.

Now, thankfully a few others have joined in. I don't know w…

Have I Told You The News?

In this past 10 months of being a running sloth, I have some good news to share.

I'm a Fitsok Ambassador!

Not only do I get to rep Pearl Izumi this year as a PI Champion, I get my favorite sock company to love on also!

When I first discovered Fitsok, I was training for my first 50K in 2013. I did a short little bloggie review of them then. And what is awesome about that bloggie review is that I still am wearing those same sockies today!

No holes or stretched out elastic or anything. I think that 90% of my socks have been Fitsoks since then, and with training for a second 50K and winning the weight loss challenge in 2015, my socks have gone through quite a few miles. I don't have a big problem with blisters (only with my Hokas I always got a blister on the same spot from the tongue on one toe despite switching shoe models many times.) So, I think that these socks have lasted this long is pretty sweet.

After wearing these socks for the past 3 years, my favorite is the F4 Te…

Make Beauty Product Review

I know that I don't really come across the blog here as a beauty blogger but hey, I'm a girl and if I get a chance to get all dolled up and out of running clothes, life is good. Eventually I will get around to redoing the site to have it be more about the things that I am posting instead of running as this originally started as.

So here is a sponsored post by Make Beauty and no other compensation has been given.

This Is Not A Sponsored Post!

I'm actually not doing a sponsored post here. I am going to talk a little bit about something that I talked about around this time last year.

I found about Slap Nutrition last year while searching the Instagram. Its just a supplement company but not like any other supplement company.
They have products with very simple ingredients, low calories, high nutrition, and they taste really good. I really think that they helped me win my weight loss challenge last year.

I just recently purchased the Super Slap Food which tastes nothing like the greens that other brands have. I mean, I like a good wheatgrass shot but this is so much more enjoyable.

That pic right there above. I only ordered the Slap Food and the Peanut Butter protein. The President of the company actually threw in some of the travel packets. As you can see in the previous pics, you can totally tell how much I love those.

Anyways, a short little post here. But I do suggest that you follow Slap Nutrition on one of their ma…

Incredible Virtual Run

I don't do many virtual runs, maybe one a year. This year, I'm seeing the importance of the runs as its a pretty nice way to get some swag and not have to deal with the crowds or parking or travel ect of some bigger races. I have been focusing on my 5Ks, and I don't get many medals from my local races for a mere 5K. This is one of the reasons why I have been looking into virtual races this year.

I am going to be participating in the LevelUpRuns Incredible Virtual Run this April. This post is sponsored by LevelUpRuns and no other compensation was given.

I plan on doing the 5K and the medal is pretty darn cute.

LevelUpRuns has the 5K, 10K and the Half Marathon registration still open until April 15th. They also have other races that you can register for too!

You can register here - BUT you can use code SAVE10 to save 10% off any race entry.

If you want to connect with LevelUpRuns, you can do so via their website, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

Who's doing the Incredi…
